1.Types of personal information collected and use purposes thereof
We collect customers’ personal information to facilitate our business of distributing pharmaceutical and medical products. On occasion, we collect personal information when engaging in product development or product support, public relations, advertising and other related activities. After receiving an easy-to-understand explanation about how we process personal information and for what purposes we process it, customers can decide whether or not to provide consent. Our use purposes are clearly stated in documents and on our web form, and customers can consent by signing such a document, filling on the online consent form or by giving spoken consent when meeting face-to-face.
If a customer provides personal data to us, it enables us to respond to that customer’s request. Providing personal data is optional, but if, for example, information is missing from a customer’s contact details, delivering documents or products to that customer might not be possible. For this reason, we ask customers to provide accurate personal information.
・Pharmaceutical and medical product customers
We publish product information on our website to globally promote our pharmaceutical and medical packaging products. If we are contacted or receive a message via our inquiry form, an e-mail addressed to the Company, or a telephone call, we will confirm the country and company address, and we will use that contact information to respond to the inquiry. Moreover, that contact information will be used in administrative procedures for purposes that include setting appointments for our sales representatives to showcase our products or discussing other related opportunities, for providing documents and for agreements.
If we receive an order or a contract is executed for one of the Company’s products, we will collect information, including the product’s delivery details, the location to where documents must be sent, and information about the services subcontractor. We will also provide information and support as part of sales activities for the Company’s products.

- Questionnaire surveys conducted via e-mail, post, telephone, video conferencing, consulting, and other means to examine product development and quality improvement measures
- Contract management, order processing, delivering products, providing support, issuing of invoices
- If disclosure is required by a demand under law or by a court order

We use information about website access, which includes information about what product information website visitors have browsed and how long a person revisiting the website spent on it, as a reference to gauge product interest and to improve our website.

If we are contacted or receive a message via our inquiry form from a project coordinator wishes to engage a supplier or services subcontractor (processor) related to the Company’s product development or distribution services, we will confirm the country name and the company address, and that contact information will be used to respond to the inquiry. Moreover, an order or application will be placed after a prior evaluation of quality and safety measures requested by the Company is carried out. After consignment, collected information is used for purposes including communicating in order for the services to be performed.

Moreover, we will use that information to make appointments for interviews, to introduce our products or provide documents.

If we are contacted or receive a message via our inquiry form, we will confirm the country name and the address, and that contact information will be used to respond to the inquiry. Applicant information sent to the Company is used for screening candidates for employment and after hiring, as well as employee attendance management, personnel administration, and labor management.

- Providing response to inquiries about recruitment by confirming the address.

- Employee attendance management, personnel administration and labor management for employees who have passed screening for employment

Use purposes：
- Confirming the country and company address and responding to inquiries via e-mail, post or telephone.
- Business improvement or collect statistics based on comments or requests received via our inquiry form.
2.Use of cookies
Our website sends out small text files called “cookies.” Using cookies makes it possible to track visitors’ usage behavior, evaluate website pages and ascertain visitors’ preferences. Analyzing access information is useful for improving website performance and the website in general.
When a user visits our website for the first time, the purposes for using cookies, which analyze access, are displayed and we request the user to consent to their use at that time. 3.Subcontractors (processors)
On occasion, we consign data center-related operations for making our website available to the public and some other operations to subcontractors (processors).
We use personal information within the scope necessary to complete those operations and prohibit any other use. We consign operations to processors that implement sufficient security measures in line with our requests.
4.Provision to third parties
We do not provide personal data to any third party without the customer’s prior consent to provide it to a third party. However, if we receive a disclosure order under law, we will comply with that order.
5.Joint use
Personal information collected from our customers is never jointly used with another entity.
6.Security and infringement notice
We have taken appropriate organizational, physical, personnel and technical measures to prevent unauthorized access, leakage, tampering and destruction of customers’ personal information. To illustrate this approach, we grant access rights to only employees and subcontractors who need to use personal information. Moreover, when sending data through an internet inquiry form, we use SSL/TLS encryption. If we anticipate that a person’s rights might be infringed upon due to a personal data problem, we notify that customer and file a report with the Personal Information Protection Commission of Japan in a timely manner.
7.Storage period for personal information and right to be forgotten
We store customers’ personal information for the period that we need to process it. The storage period includes necessary periods, such as those set forth under laws and regulations and accounting audit periods. After a certain period, we delete personal information that no longer needs to be processed.
8.Right to access personal information
Any customer is entitled to make a request to disclose, correct or cease use of their personal information and, in certain cases, is entitled to request that their personal information be deleted.
If you have a request to disclose, correct, cease use of or delete your personal information that we are storing, please contact our Sales Department.

Our Sales Department will handle such requests. If the relevant manager is unclear, please contact us with the details of your disclosure request using the inquiry form.
